Bug Description
In Linux Mint 18.2 also noticeable on Linux Mint 17·3
64 bit OS and computer. Intel Nuc i3.
Inserting a usb huawei modem causes attached flash drives to dismount and the device no longer detectable.
Problem persists even when modem is removed.
Flash drives inserted are not detected by the OS even with no modem present, an unreliable workaround is for them to be already inserted pre-boot. Attaching a modem removes them again.
External hard drives also unreliable at being registered but not dismounted by modem if attached preboot.
