Desktop not working after last update

Bug Description
In the last update, the desktop does not work anymore, nor does the right mouse button when clicked on it, nor create folders anything. Even when I enter the personal folder I create within the desktop folder something, no desktop appears. The taskbar and Docky are working, only icons or folders on the desktop do not work.
I'm using the Cinnamon 18.2 beta; As I said this problem happened after the last update of the Sonya version, on 06/21/17. My settings are: Acer aspire v5, Intel i5, 4GB ram, 500HD. Thank you so much.
