Bug Description

The version of my system is Linux Mint Serena 18.1. I had been using the kernels of the series 4.4, updating them through the Update manager. At some point, I opted to install the latest 4.8 kernel available through the Update Manager, thus one would expect that the kernel updates would now appear for 4.8. However, whenever Update Manager shows there is a kernel update, the main title refers to an update regarding the latest 4.4 version, but the description and eventually the update actually happen for the 4.8 version. In short, the main title of the Kernel update says it's about 4.4, although the update eventually does install the latest 4.8 kernel. Images attached for clarity. This has always happened since I replaced 4.4 for 4.8.
