Bug Description

This happened yesterday on both my computers, one is a Lenovo X121e laptop and the other one is a custom built desktop.
I am running Linux Mint 18 Cinnamon 64bit on both of them.
I didn't do anything to get this problem, can't remember but i think that I didn't even update the system.
I tried to reset the router but that didn't help, other hardware/software has no problem with connecting to the WIFI.
It's so odd because everything has worked fine for the last 6 months.

Is this a known problem?

Likely that an update enabled wifi power management. In terminal enter

sudo sed -i 's/wifi.powersave = 3/wifi.powersave = 2/' /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/default-wifi-powersave-on.conf

It should be entered as one line, then reboot
