After almost every Cut & Paste, Nemo detects a problem in thumbnail cache and prompts to fix it with root priviledges.

Bug Description

I am using Linux Mint 18.1 with kernel 4.4.0-62.

Nemo version 3.2.2.

I have enabled all the actions and extensions in plugin preference which are given by default in normal install.

Since upgrading to Cinnamon 18.1 I have been plagued with this problem. Using the "Fix" as administrator does not help. Deleting .cache/thumbnails and .thunbnails does not help either. I just did all that and the first .jpg file I moved gave the dreaded message again.

"A problem has been detected with your thumbnail cache. Fixing it will require administrative privileges."
