Terminator in Maximized mode extends past status bar

I noticed on Mint 18.1 with Graphz when I start terminator in Maximized mode terminator extends past or under bottom menu bar this way you can't see last lines in terminator. I also have Qt creator 5.8 RC running and Opera browser and I do not notice such behavior.
This is reproducible on my machine with terminator every time.
Not sure if this move different but I do not start terminator in normal window mode when click on maximize. I did set maximize on start so every time I start terminator it automatically goest to maximized mode.
