Nemo does not present icons on both monitors on boot

This problem did not occur on 17.3 Cinnamon 64bit.
With 18.0 Cinnamon, dual monitors, the icons on the 2nd display do not appear about 10% of the time on boot. Shutting down Nemo and restarting Nemo the icons reappear always.

Linux Mint 18.0 Cinnamon 64bit.
Also with 18.0 I installed SSD. Don't see how this relates but trying to mention all that changed going from 17.3 to 18.0

Still occurs on 18.1 Cinnamon Nemo 3.2.2

Where as 18.0 failed about 10% of the time, 18.1 fails everytime.
Besides stopping and restarting Nemo, icons can also be restored by right click on desktop, select desktop settings, change "show desktop icons on all monitors" to something elese then change back to "show desktop icons on all monitors"

Did it only occasionally in 18 now its all the time in 18.1 If I disconnect my second monitor it stops all together.

This bug is 8 months old and no response or assignment. Looking at the Linux Mint Forums it appears a number of people have this issue. Many months ago someone posted a workaround that works 95% of the time but not always.
