Bug Description

When Linux Mint Cinnamon edition boots, I can hear the sound. When I press Superl key, write Orca and press enter, Orca says screen reader on, but after 5 secs, it says window, Screen reader off, so Cinnamon desktop can be used with Orca screen reader. Can you fix this please?

A lot was done to improve this for Cinnamon 3.0. What version are you on? Go in to cinnamon-settings->accessibility to configure and turn things on and off (including the reader).

I just want to be clear, don't try to run orca from the terminal or menu. Turn it on via settings or keyboard shortcut or panel applet. Orca should start automatically. There are other services that need to be enabled that orca doesn't do on its own.

If the shortcut is alt super S, it doesn't work.
