Bug Description

computer: Acer travelmate P645 + AMD HD 8750M graphics
distro: Linux Mint 18 Cinnamon 64b with LVM2 partition

After resume from suspend, most of text in applications is missing - including terminals, app windows, desklets...

It happens almost every time after resume.

I am experiencing the same 'missing text' effects particularly in the panel.

It may be worth to cite that once, after coming from suspend,
this issue was there and then it was gone after I upgraded
packages including some graphics/new icons-related.

In all other situations, only reboot 'solves'.

pc: Lenovo g400s, intel processor with integrated
3gen graphics card running mint 18, unique partition.

This bug is hard to reproduce. I can go days without a reboot and going into suspend repeatedly with no problem. Then it just happens. Reboot fixes it, as does restarting Cinnamon, though it is more prone to do it again on the next suspend when Cinnamon is restarted.

I also get this bug. I agree with Cory that it can be days before it manifests.
I am using Lenovo yoga ideapad 13. (This is the original Yoga preceding Yoga pros)

I am also experiencing this issue on my Lenovo X131e. I agree it isn't overly consistent but it happens every three or four times I resume from suspend.
