Bug Description

Hello,

I have a problem with the microphone on a Lenovo laptop model G50-70 in linux mint 17.3 Cinnamon that is also present in Linux Mint Cinnamon 18 64 bit BETA.

When i first installed mint the mic was not working anywhere. After searching, I learned that the microphone has 2 channels (why? it didn't in windows) and when they are at the same levels they cancel each other. After that I installed the package "pavucontrol" and I changed the levels as you see in this pic.

When I talk in skype there is no problem. However in Google Hangouts or jitsi.meet (either with firefox or opera) every 20 seconds the channels became the same (like this http://imgur.com/J4rEh9A ) by themselves (maybe when there was a loud sound) and as a result I had to change them all the time.

This is the console output of the command "inxi -Fxxx"

Thanks
