please, on linux mint rosa 17.3 the steam just dont open, its installed but dont run the steam, please fix it.

It's Steams fault. They ship old libs and it clashes with Mesa requirements/

A long fix here:

The quick fix is to rename the 'libstdc++.so.6' that lives under the steam-runtime folder.
cd $HOME/.
mv libstdc++.so.6 libstdc++.so.6.bak
cd $HOME/.
mv libstdc++.so.6 libstdc++.so.6.bak
I'm not very knowledgable on deb packages but I'm sure it could be fixed with an updated deb that lives in a Mint repo.
