Bug Description
Unchecking box "hide icons from compatible players" doesn't work and VLC systray is still not visible (in VLC options systray is of course turned on) so I can't hide VLC window while playing. What's more, the systray doesn't work even if sound applet is remove from status bar

Cinnamon Systray is not working at all. Look at this: https:/
It isn't even working correctly for any other systray icon, as dropbox and many more. Its behavior is just different from 17.2. And it also changes icon colors!
