Bug Description
German translation of Name=Software Manager is Name[de]
Because the word "Software" there is also not in the comment (this translation is correct) you cannot find the Software Manager on an German Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon installation if you searching for software in the mint menu.
In Germany the most people searching for "Software", not "Anwendungen" I think.
1) The version and edition of Linux Mint you are using (if you are not sure, open a terminal and run "mintwelcome").
→ Linux Mint 17.2 64 bit Cinnamon
2) What you did for the problem to happen, and how to reproduce it.
→ Searching for "Software" on a system with German localization.
3) What happened.
→ Software Center not found if you searching for Software
4) What you expected to happen instead.
→ Finding Software Center
5) If the problem happened once, sometimes, or always.
→ Always
Workaround:
Edit /usr/share/
Change "Neue Anwendungen" to "Neue Software"
On my Workaround I only changed the Comment[de] because then you will find it if you search for Software. This is the best solution I think.
But more straight is changing the Name[de] to just "Software" oder "Software Center" oder "Software Verwaltung" or "Software installieren"
