Bug Description
Using latest Mint 17.3, instead of getting prompted the LUKS password after grub, I have a black screen, even backlight is turned off.
The latest kernel is used, graphics driver is the radeon kmod on a Sony Vaio SVE171C11M, model SVE1712V1EB.
A short workaround is to do a vt switch (alt-arrowleft, then alt-arrowright), after that, the password prompt is visible and backlight turns back on.
Expected: luks password prompt
Happened: Black screen with no backlight on
It happens every time I reboot, but only about every second time I boot after the laptop was off.
