Bug Description

I am running in forced HiDPI mode (it was not autodetected for my system). I noticed the lock screen has an odd scaling issue, where the input form is 1/4 the size of the background.

I am on Mint 17.3, upgraded to kernel 4.2 from the repos but otherwise a vanilla install. The system is a Samsung NP930X2K. I've attached a screenshot.

Present for me exactly as described the bug report. Bug evident on Cinnamon/17.2 (desktop), default kernel V3.x and cinnamon/17.3 Lenovo Yoga 500 laptop, V4.2 kernel. Both machines fully updated - and maybe relevant - both machines using Nvidia graphics.

Good point mentioning the card. My system has integrated Intel graphics.
