[English (UK) locale] desktop icon is correctly labeled as "Wastebasket", but "Trash" in the Mint Menu

Bug Description
Mint 17.3 "Rosa" MATE Edition
In the English (UK) locale, the desktop icon for the wastebasket is correctly named "Wastebasket", while in the Mint Menu US English usage persists.
For some reason I can't take screenshots of the Mint Menu, so I've attached a photo taken with my mobile phone.
By the way, Caja displays the Wastebasket correctly.
