Bug Description

On a remote desktop connection, I am unable to start gufw, either through the applications menu or the terminal. No UI window appears after I authenticate.

This is what I see from the console:

$ gufw
==== AUTHENTICATING FOR com.ubuntu.pkexec.gufw ===
Authentication is required to run the Firewall Configuration
Authenticating as: -snip-
Password:
==== AUTHENTICATION COMPLETE ===
Hangup
$

This is on Mint 17.1 with XFCE. I was using Cinnamon before from the local machine but apparently it doesn't work with remote desktop sessions.

Oh, I should mention that this was using xrdp and vnc. What you mentioned probably works, but I want to be able to use gufw through xrdp.
