mate-screenshot does not work while inside right-click dialog menu

Bug Description
Symptom:
1. Open a right-click dialog menu, for example right-click on a desktop item or right-click within an application to access a menu.
2. Press PrtSc (PrintScreen Print Screen) button, which works when I am not inside a dialog menu.
3. mate-screenshot does not capture screen as it normally does.
This is reproducible. "Include Pointer" was selected in mate-screenshot.
My workaround for now is to install KSnapshot and use its Delay feature, which worked.

It's an old GTK+ issue that's actually an effect of Xorg limitation. We can't fix this on our side.
