Bug Description

After making a fresh install Linux Mint 17.1 mate x86, I was trying to download Google Chrome from firefox and all system crashed, just a black screen, not even possible to do alt+ctrl+f1 it was needed to restart by alt+print scren+R+E+I+S+U+B. I tried updating system but nothing changed, same problem.

The system crashes surfing the internet with both Firefox and Google chrome browsers. It happened also booting from Linux Mint and Xubuntu 14.04.1 live usb and trying to open random web pages (system always crashed when I was trying to install a chrome app)

I would like to give you more info but the laptop was not mine, so I just installed another distro.

note: I did check iso md5sum Xubuntu and Linux mint and both were ok.

Has tutan_kbron installed the 32 bit version on a 64 bit machine?He/she has not mentioned about the laptop model, whether it is an old one or not! There already exists a mismatch between Linux and Laptops and if the installed version was on a 64 bit laptop, one can be sure that such hiccups will happen!Unless, further info' is provided by the OP, it's almost impossible to regard it as a bug! Peace.
