Bug Description

Philips GoGear ViBE (usb vendor/model = 0471/2075) is set to MSC but recognized as MTP by udev.

I have found the fix for this problem - commenting the line in the file /lib/udev/rules.d/69-libmtp.rules

ATTRS{idVendor}=="0471", ATTRS{idProduct}=="2075", ENV{ID_GPHOTO2}="1", ENV{GPHOTO2_DRIVER}="proprietary", ENV{ID_MEDIA_PLAYER}="1", MODE="0664", GROUP="plugdev"

I had this problem for years. I have finnaly solved it. I hope this post would help others that posses the same device.

I am using Linux Mint 17, Cinnamon edition.
