Bug Description
Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon gives no message when trying to use non-allowed characters for the username when adding a user, for example, using an uppercase letter (they must all be lowercase). LM 17 Xfce displays a message when trying to use non-allowed characters for the username. CInnamon should do this also. This could be a showstopper for a new Linux Mint Cinnamon user and new to Linux in general.
