Bug Description

I just installed Linux Mint 17 (Cinnamon), overall everything is nice and smooth, except when it comes to watching flash videos on Firefox. When I try to watch a full screen flash video on Firefox, the image suffers heavy tearing, also the player becomes very lag and unresponsive. Non full screen videos plays just fine. Chromium also plays flash videos without any issues.

I have an Radeon HD 7870, and I'm using Catalyst 14.4, from AMD website. I tried the fglrx driver from Mint Drive Manager, but the result was the same. I don't have tearing issues anywhere else, it's only in Firefox. Also, I was using Ubuntu 14.04 before, and I didn't have this issue, it only occurs in Linux Mint.

System: Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon x86-64
Browser: Firefox 30.0
Flash Player: 11.2.202.378

Do you have Tear Free enabled in the Catalyst driver? It a sub-page of Display Options in the AMD Catalyst Control Center.

Yes, I have it enabled. As I said, this only occurs in full screen flash videos, HTML5 videos plays just fine.
