Alt+tab Alt+Q doesn't update window list

Bug Description

System: Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon x86_64

Alt+Tab allows the user to quickly switch between windows. If, while still holding down Alt, the user hits Q, the window is sent a Quit message and is closed. (So far, this is expected behavior.) However, the Alt-Tab list of windows is updated internally, but not on screen. Any icons to the right of the closed window/app will be for the item one further to the right. This is made obvious by the preview underneath the icon, which is for the icon to the right. The last icon is skipped.

Expected behavior: Alt+Tab, Alt-Q should trigger either a redraw of the list of windows or an animation of the closed window going away and the others closing the gap.

A little more information, this does not happen with the 3D Timeline switcher, but does with 'Icons and thumbnails."
