libreoffice showing up with missing icons

LibreOffice 4.2.3 found in the RC Linux Mint 17 show up without the icon of the start center and no icons in the sidebar.

it affects also 4.2.4.2 (2 different PCs, Mint 17)

Just to point out that only sidebar in impress is affected (no problems on start center)

I guess i wasnt clear enough with the problem with the start center. If you open libreoffice the first time in the start center, there should be a libreoffice logo above the words "Welcome to LibreOffice." as can be seen at this link < https://lh5.ggpht.com/-_SrrRG-WeJY/UpMkFjy7yPI/AAAAAAABPDI/4Un92row0DU/w800-h800/LibreOffic%2525204.2-Start-Center.jpg >. I do not mean that thumbnails do not appear in the start center.

For those looking for a solution to this issue, you can install the package libreoffice-style-tango and then go into libreoffice's menu Tools > Options and in the dialog go into Libreoffice > View and then set icon style to Tango.
