Bug Description

Hi there!

The Chromium browser project release delivered with Ubuntu 14.04 features aura (see http://dev.chromium.org/developers/desi ... ments/aura ) which they somehow made work with Unity, but in other desktop environments like KDE (tried Kubuntu 14.04) and Cinnamon this aura stuff (which you know you have if the settings button has this blue "a" in it) makes the Chromium browser look freakishly big. All UI-Elements, including text, icons, and everything is like 5 times as big as everything else in the desktop environment.

Is it possible to revert to the previous chromium release for Mint 17?

Sorry, we can't freeze Chromium as that would stop any security updates for it and it's quite important for a browser.

I can reproduce the issue. Chromium is completely unusable.

That's an upstream bug though and it will need to be addressed by the Chromium devs.
