Bug Description
1) The version and edition of Linux Mint you are using (if you are not sure, open a terminal and run "mintwelcome").
LMDE UP8, not tracking any Debian repos
2) What you did for the problem to happen, and how to reproduce it.
- update 8 installed, reboot, login.
- Go to connect apple magic trackpad to bluetooth via belkin USB bT dongle. was previously paired, not paired now.
- pair with apple magic trackpad...first part of bug: Trackpad shows up as a tablet with a series of ID numbers rather than apple magic trackpad, which was formerly recognized correctly. Pair with tablet entry successful.
-trackpad works momentarily, then whole system becomes unresponsive. No mouse or key input. have to hard reset via power button.
- reboot and log in. BT applet now shows tablet with ID/address numbers in connect submenu (but it is the magic trackpad). Connect once, momentary on switch, then back off, connect a second time and it sticks, touchpad works for a moment, but moving cursor causes system freeze within moments.
-happens consistently.
Will crash system now and post logs

not sure if logs will help, but let me know if you need output from any commands or logs. I saved all logs with bluetooth refs in them and can provide them with time of crash 2/24, about 18:45 in case I forget
