Bug Description
1. Install Mint 16 MATE Edition 64-bit.
2. Connect to an encrypted wifi network.
3. Connect to an unencrypted wifi network. There is no warning about connecting to an insecure wifi network.
4. Reboot and login again.
5. Mint will actually prefer the unencrypted wifi network und connect to it automatically and won't tell the user because the notification bubble about network changes isn't being displayed.
Unless people check manually, they won't know that all their traffic can be read in clear-text.
There should be a warning about connectiong to insecure wifi networks and Mint should not prefer them over unencrypted wifi networks.
One last thing: I'm new here. The same thing happens on Xubuntu 13.10. Should I copy this bugreport to Ubuntu or is this one sufficient?
