Thank you for your bug report, that bug is fixed in the current Ubuntu version, if you have problems with Mint you should report the issue to them rather

Thank you for your help. I'm quite new with launchpad, so I accidently posted in wrong section. Now I have moved it to linuxmint. Do I need to change it's status to NEW? Or leave it as Fix Released?

you should probably change it no New (I can't do that it seems, I don't have edit rights on linuxmint)

Basically Sebastian Bacher has confirmed the bug.
If I understand correctly this bug seems to be fixed in Ubuntu, see comment #2.

But it's still present on linux mint 16 petra. It seems that it was fixed on evince 3.8*, but linux mint petra comes with 3.61 . I tried upgrading it by adding gnome staging ppa, but for some reason I couldn't install latest version, it would return message that I have latest version installed.

It's there on LM 16 Xfce (64-bit). I just made a fresh upgrade.

As a workaround, does anyone know if it is possible to install the ubuntu saucy package ?
Or does it risk to break something ?
Thanks

I was able to install newest evince. By disabling all linux mint ppas and adding gnome staging ppa. After instalation renabled linux mint ppas and removed gnome staging. It worked few month ago
