Bug Description
System:
Mint 15 x64 Cinnamon
My iphone 3GS will refuse to mount untless it is plugged in during boot time. If plugged in during boot time I will have "iPhone" "documents on iPhone 3gs" and "iPhone 3gs" icons on my desktop. Only the third (iphone 3gs) is useful as it is the only one which allows you to access your files on the phone.
If plugged in after bootup and login I receive an error "Unable to mount iPhone
Unable to open MTP device '[usb:001,007]'"
After receiving this error if I logout and login then I see the "iPhone" icon on my desktop but this is useless as you are unable to actually access any resources on the iPhone from this.
Using an iPhone should not require a restart of the system.

I am experiencing this as well.
I am using an IPhone 4 and Mint 15 Cinnamon x64.
If my phone is not plugged in during boot time, it will repeatedly fail to connect to the computer, repeatedly vibrating and generating an error message like "Unable to mount iPhone: Unable to open MTP device '[usb:001,007]'" with a different USB device ID each time.
