Bug Description

Version: Mint 15RC, Cinnamon 64 bit

Steps to produce:

1. Insert a supported USB 3g Modem. I'm using Huawei E1552 USB 3G modem, Malaysia Maxis Broadband network
2. Under the Networking applet - Put the "mobile broadband" switch/toggle to On
3. The modem manages to find GSM network, Notification states "You are now registered on the home network"
4. The Networking Applet states "Mobile Broadband, Disconnected"
5. Trying to manually configure the connection by choosing and clicking the "Add new connection" dropdown box, but nothing happens
6. The "Options.." button is greyed.
7. Unable to proceed further.
8. However, broadband connection via Bluetooth is working fine by inserting the same sim card in my iPhone

P/S:
Using the Linux Mint 15 RC, Mate Edition, the USB Broadband connection is working fine via configuration through the networking applet
