Bug Description
I wanted to change my password recently, and naturally I thought to go to the User Accounts application to do so. Upon typing a password that is deemed "Weak" or "Fair", a dialog box pops up saying that my requested new password is too simple.

Upon my second try, I type in a new password that is deemed "Strong" or higher. However, the User Accounts application hangs after I click the "Change" button. This behavior is reproducible; it happens every time I initially enter a "Weak" or "Fair" password (which is deemed too simple) and subsequently enter a password of any strength (i.e. not just "Strong" or higher).

Changing my password works if I enter a strong-enough password on my first try.
This is on Linux Mint 14 with Cinnamon.
I confirm this.
Note: This also freezes when the second password is 'weak' or 'fair'
