$ skype
Fatal: QWidget: Must construct a QApplication before a QPaintDevice
Aborted

When I install skype it starts normally (but does not remember password, I have to insert it each time skype starts) until reboot of the computer. After reboot skype does not start. Sometimes notification appears: You must to reinstall skype.
After reinstalling everything repeats.
Linuxmint 13 Maya Mate 32 bit

I have the same problem with Skype.
I don't get any messages asking me to reboot though. The only solution to get it working for me is opening Synaptic and selecting to completely remove Skype, then installing it again.
