Bug Description

Release: 14 (nadia)
Edition: MATE 32-bit

Start LibreOffice Writer. Go to Tools, Options, Paths. Edit "Paths", which has /home/kurt by default. Change it to /home/kurt/Docments. Click OK on the dialog box (note "Paths" is still /home/kurt at this point, although the dialog box has been dismissed). Click OK on "Options - LibreOffice - Paths".

The "Paths" is still /home/kurt. It has not changed.

Just to check, you are spelling the path correctly?

/home/kurt/Docments , should this be /home/kurt/Documents ?

Sorry, didn't realise you select the folder through the dialogue.

I confirm this. But it's a bug with LibreOffice and not something I think the Linux Mint team can fix.

I have posted the bug upstream at https://www.libreoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=58940
