Bug Description

Acer Aspire One 722
Linux Mint 13 KDE 64-bit AMD with all updates applied

HP OfficeJet Pro 8100 connected via USB cable.

Printing from LibreOffice, or pretty much any application is a disaster. The duplexing option is completely wrong. Printer has automatic duplexing but driver seems to randomly use it.

print 1 copy of a 2 page document with duplexing turned on to long edge and it will print one side of two different sheets.

print 1 copy of a 2 page document with duplexing set to ignore it will print on both sides of a single sheet.

print any number of copies other than one and it ALWAYS prints on one side of sheet AND it submits the different pages of the document as different jobs!

Driver, periodically, without pattern or warning, unchecks the enable box on the printer configuration screen. It will do this even during the middle of printing with many more jobs left in the queue.

This last driver bug appears to be part of the massive networking bug Linux Mint 13 has where it spastically disconnects wireless network connections. The disabling does appear to happen about the same time the wireless loses connection for no reason.
