Bug Description

Running on Mint 13 Maya Cinnamon 64-bit. Just upgraded to Cinnamon 1.6, but problem was also apparent on Cinnamon 1.4.

The default keybinding to bring up Gnome-Do is <Super>+Space. This works find with right Super, but apparently does not with the left Super. After finding http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=208&t=105642 and messing about a bit, it becomes clear that this is very likely caused by the Cinnamon menu intercepting the left Super key. Indeed, quickly double-tapping the left super and then space works, as does double-tapping space while holding the left super.

Cinnamon Menu itself isn't quite at fault, though: when I remove the Menu applet from the bar, I still need to double-tap the spacebar in order to get the Gnome-Do dialog. I expect the Super interception is done on a lower layer? The menu only appears when releasing the super key without having pressed another key, though, so it seems likely that there is a bug in passing the Super keypresses through to the shortcut handler.
