Bug Description

I am developing embedded systems with LPCXpresso ( which is to us what Visual Studio is for C# developers. When I try to install it I get the error output pasted below. I have queried the developers and they say it can be installed just fine under Ubuntu 12.04 hence I assume this has something to do with Cinnamon.

Information about my system:

  + Linux Mint 13 (64bit) - 32bit support libraries installed
  + Cinnamon
  + * tcl8.5 is installed

This is the output:

c0dehunter@mintBox ~/Downloads $ sudo ./Installer_LPCXpresso_4.2.3_255_Linux-x86
[sudo] password for c0dehunter:
invalid command name "bind"

I can confirm this happens only on the 64bit version of the system. Now I am using 32bit version and everything works great - but obviously it's not an elegant solution.

For the record, I've just found for another InstallJammer program that the missing lib here is the 32bit version of gtk2. So to solve this on a multiarch 64bit host, just install libgtk2.0-0:i386 ! :)

2 years later and you saved the day. This was indeed missing. RESOLVED! :)
