Bug Description

Hi there, here is my description of a behaviour I assume is a bug.

There seem to be a bit similar Gnome Bugzilla "Bug 668315 - Sound preferences: mouse scrolling balance only works for right." https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=668315

- Open up Sound Preferences
- Choose Application tab
- Position your mouse over Output Volume scroll bar
- Use mouse scroll button to increase the output volume --> Output volume only decreases
- Use mouse scroll button to increase the output volume of active playing applications --> Output volume only decreases

~ $ lsb_release -rd
Description: Linux Mint 13 Maya
Release: 13

My guess is that this belongs to mate-media-pulse package.

~ $ apt-cache policy mate-media-pulse
mate-media-pulse:
  Installed: 1.2.1-5+precise
  Candidate: 1.2.1-5+precise
  Version table:
 *** 1.2.1-5+precise 0
        700 http://packages.linuxmint.com/ maya/import amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Please advice if you need some more version information or similar.

BR,
Markku Majaniemi
