Bug Description

W/Fx5200 AGP, starts out Frequency out of range. Tried compatibility mode 1st, no go. Remove FX5200, go to setup and choose onboard video, will boot. Won't ALWAYS complete installation after choosing partition (Mint 13). Install Mint 11, 12, 13, lower resolution, reinsert FX5200 and system is flakey. Try to change Resolution again, complete lock up. Have made it as far as installing drivers for vid card (mint 13). Still locks up on Resolution change. Another message I received more than once. Can not create ext 4 partition. then locks up. That was Mint 13. 13 calls my FX5200 and CRT a Laptop Display. No way to change it. I will keep trying on my end, but I think Mint still needs some work. Just from all of the Bug Reports that I have seen. I really Like Linux Mint, keep up the Awsome work guys ! Me wanting/needing my 128mb vid card, I guess I am just stuck with windozs for now. As far as command line, forget it. out of ink and all of those long commands just aren't going to help right now.
12 Lisa Really want Mint 13. 12 may not work after installing FX card.

Why is it that PCLinuxOS, is the only Linux that I can find, that will play nice with my FX 5200 AGP video card? And God knows that I've tried a lot of linux Distro's. I just needed to know that it is POSSIBLE to run Linux on my FX 5200 card. I'm not smart enough to fix the problem with Mint. Maybe someone, at some point, will deal with this issue. By then, I may be hooked on PCLinuxOS. lol ! It's not bad.
