Bug Description
As per forum posting http://
Based on the original ISO for Linux Mint, a custom ISO was produced which merely included extra packages. It's then written to a USB memory stick with unetbootin. Then syslinux.cfg is modified where automatic-ubiquity is added as a kernel parameter along with the preseed file to use. This is with the intention of automatically starting Ubiquity to automate the install.
This does not work on MATE or Cinnamon editions of Linux Mint 13 any more. It worked on Linux Mint 12 without a problem.
A workaround on the custom ISO is to install lightdm and then run dpkg-reconfigure and choose lightdm. Then write the ISO to a memory stick again and now the kernel parameter automatic-ubiquity is recognised and an automatic install is possible.
Hi, it should be "only-ubiquity".
