Cant update mint,install softwares or fix broken packages,not eeven from the commandline interface......I get the following error ; error processing crossplatformui (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2 Errors were encountered while processing: crossplatformui

I cant fix broken packages, install softwares, clean system of obsolete files, cant update syetem,etc...not even from the command line interface in terminal. Everytime I get the following error message :

 error processing crossplatformui (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2
Errors were encountered while processing:
 crossplatform

The screenshot of error codes that I had got once trying to fix a broken package is as follows :
