Wired internet connection crashes for every 10 minutes

I am using linux mint 12 from past 6months, after connecting to my DSL internet connection suddenly wired internet connection vanishes without any notice and my ethernet goes down. To resolve this im using the following command : sudo /etc/init.d/network-manager restart, to brings back my wired connection.

 I have used other distros like ubuntu/lubuntu/windows but ethernet connection was never down like this. please relsove this annoying problem asap.
