wine will not install from Software Manager

wine will not install from the Software Manager.

I am running mint 13 (maya) Cinnamon 64-bit.

I open the Software Manager, click Games, then wine. I click the install button, it prompts me for my password, I enter it. Password dialog disappears but nothing happens.

The problem happens every time I try to install wine from the Software Manager. Other programs seem to install normally, that is to say, wine is the only program I have had a problem installing.

Could you start "mintinstall" from a terminal to see if there is an error message please?

I have the same problem also in Mint 13 Cinamon 64bit.

This what happens, after inserting the administrator password the download seems to start ( it marks 1 ongoing task) then suddenly stops and the following message is prompted in the terminal.

Just the same here trying to install a zeitgeist extension.
