Bug Description

Any application written in Java that uses the systray is showing JavaEmbeddedFrame

Or provide some more information, such as which Linux Mint version you are using, whether you installed a different Java that the one default installed, and name a few examples of applications that show this issue.

Tested with JDownloader and PS3 Media Server with Linux Mint 13

I use Linux Mint 14. I installed JRE 1.7.0_10 in place of IcedTea hoping to fix the problem. I still get JavaEmbeddedFrame on my taskbar when I use JDownloader with the "JDownloader Minimize to Tray addon" enabled.

So are you suggesting that I downgrade to JRE 1.6? Is this a JRE bug or a Linux/Mint/Cinnamon bug?

I run Cinnamon on Ubuntu and I get the same problem with the JavaEmbeddedFrame and I also notince sometimes that when I close ps3 media server its still running in the background and I have to manually kill it.
