Bug Description
I installed the beta yesterday May 22, 2012, and I often want to login using a terminal session without passing via a gui interface.
This was not possible as there was no response to ctl-alt-F1. I am using cinamon with AMD64 version on a dual core (4 gig memory) system. Is this shortcoming also present in Mate?
