MINT13 RC MATEs "Open as Administrator" in the right klick Menu does nothing!

Bug Description
When we click on "Open as Administrator" in the right klick Menu of MINT13 RC MATE, it does nothing after entering the ROOT PWD, it just flickers something on the Desktop, but no new Window with Root Rights opens, not even the allready opened Folder has Root Rights!
BTW. please make that the with Root Rights opened Folders again turn red when they open, i somehow missed that in Mint 12!
