Maybe some Problems with Swiss Keyboards

I somehow believe that swiss keyboards still have problems and system instability, had it on a Mint 8, that when i didn't choose German(Switzerland eliminate dead keys) {didn't know it then, that we have to use this because else we had to press two times the ^ button that it appears once} the whole system freezed or even completely shut down when i wrote ^^ smileys a couple of times in a text(on websites)... and yeah still today on Mint12 i see in every update console when it updates something or when i track a software by starting it with console, that it has problems with swiss language here and problem there, can not find etc., maybe it's also that, it messed up my Mint12 so that i can't use it any longer, even after a normal install with updates and just using Firefox for Youtube and Blender to make Games, this thing with Cinnamon freezes very often and even with just gnome classic without effects i can't use it anymore and that just after two months.

Could someone tell the responsible Programmers, that Swiss Germans only had their own Keyboard Layouts, but every Language Packet else for the System or the Gramatic Softwares should be the same ones from Germans, maybe this makes Conflicts!
