Bug Description
This issue is not present with Cinnamon. When running Mate, I enabled suspend after closing laptop lid in the power settings under Screen Saver. The computer seems to go into suspend mode just fine. When I wake it back up, it turns back on but immediately shuts down. There is a message before shutdown that says:
Linux Mint Debian edition ttyl
Computez login: (computez is my computer name)
I am running latest LMDE 32bit on 3.2.0.2 686 PAE kernel.
Vostro 1400
I've had the same problem of the computer shutting down after waking from suspend. It's intermittent. I'll be able to successfully wake the laptop a few times in a row, and then the next time it will shut down immediately after login. This has been happening for months with different kernels.
