Bug Description

Version 1.0.3 core 0.698 installed from ubuntu package system

In ubuntu karmik (9.10) all works fine, but after updating to lucid started strange things.

I deleted ~/.dc++, started linuxdcpp again, set up the nickname and connect to LAN hub dchub.punklan.net (accessible from internet afaik) It takes several minutes to load list of 870 users (70Tb shares) (in Karmik it was 1 second)

It prints strange warnings to stdout in lucid (no one if karmik) when loading users (maybe every user):

(linuxdcpp:10705): Gtk-WARNING **: A floating object was finalized. This means that someone
called g_object_unref() on an object that had only a floating
reference; the initial floating reference is not owned by anyone
and must be removed with g_object_ref_sink().
(repeats many times)

After all loading done, it seems that searching not working.

I tried to set up encoding to CP1251 (native for our hub) and reconnect, but users still loading very slow. When i close application when loading users, segmentation fault is printed to stdout.

This is a duplicate of #326977. See that bug for instructions on how to disable gail and it should fix the problem.
