like the summary says : clicking web links doesn't work in xfce, with rev 335, can someone else test this please & confirm it?

Are you sure you have xdg-utils installed? What happens when you run `xdg-open http://www.google.com`?

damnit talk about n00b mistake lol, yes apparently it was pulled in with other installs, installed it and works fine now, thanks n sorry to waste time

I think we should add better error-checking for xdg-utils. I don't think we should add a build dependency since it's not required to build the program, but probably we should show up an error dialog instead of just writing to stderr as we do now.
