Option to go up the tree in file list

Bug Description

I see no option to go up one level, while browsing file lists, other than to scroll in tree view and select.

This is frustrating especially when users have lot of subfolders in one folder, as I have to scroll all the way back up andalso use my mouse. I also need to pay penalty for an accidental click.

Expected: a shortcut, an entry in file list, or any other alternative

You can navigate using the keyboard in the left directory pane pretty easily, but you're right in that there's no way to go up using the right file pane. What keyboard shortcut would you suggest? Usually in a file browser I use alt + left arrow to go back, but that doesn't really make sense here since we're not maintaining history (and don't plan to).

Will it be possible to display a '..' or 'up' or 'Parent directory' entry
in the right pane? That will be more useful. I can not think of a good
keyboard shortcut yet.

Also, can a button or menu entry somewhere be considered? With Unity's HUD,
I have no problem even if menu entries are nested very deep. But for other
distributions, may not be a good idea.
